Cancellation cover
Do you prefer a LEGOLAND® Cancellation cover or a classic travel insurance including holiday guarantee? There are many factors that can prevent you from being able to take a well-deserved holiday, especially when you're travelling with children: Illness, accidents, loss of a job, but also the coronavirus pandemic. Together with our partner HanseMerkus we therefore offer two different insurance options in order to protect your booking:
LEGOLAND Cancellation cover
With our trip cancellation protection, you can cancel or rebook your family stay - free of charge and without having to provide a reason - until 12:00 noon on the day before arrival. Simply send an email to info@LEGOLANDholidays.de. We will then cancel your booking and refund the total (less the amount of the cancellation cover) to your accounts. This makes your planning as flexible as possible and you can look forward to your time together as a family here at LEGOLAND without having to be stressed! You can take out LEGOLAND cancellation protection at the same time you place your booking or up to three days afterwards. Without booking the cancellation protection and for cancellations after 12:00 noon, the cancellation conditions according to our general terms and conditions apply.
HanseMerkur travel insurance incl. guarantee
The HanseMerkur travel insurance including holiday guarantee is a classic cancellation insurance, meaning you are able to cancel your trip up to the day of arrival as well as throughout your stay. In case you cancel your trip for an insured reason HanseMerkur will refund cancellation fees owed by contract. Insured reasons are, for example, serious injury caused by an accident, unexpected and severe illness, death and loss of a job. Please note that a proof of cancellation costs as well as the reason for the cancellation must be provided. Please arrange this insurance directly with HanseMerkur after placing your booking.
